VILLA BICAS

VILLA BICAS is a generous private retreat in Muda, surrounded by the characteristic cork trees of the Alentejo. Set within its own fully enclosed grounds, the house offers an exceptional sense of privacy and space, while remaining within easy reach of Comporta, Carvalhal and the Atlantic coast.

The architecture combines the simplicity of traditional Comporta style with a warm Mediterranean character. Natural materials, carefully selected furnishings and high-quality finishes create interiors that feel refined yet wonderfully relaxed. At the heart of the house is a generous open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, conceived as a natural gathering place for family and friends. The exceptionally well-equipped kitchen offers everything needed for guests who genuinely enjoy cooking, from simple summer lunches to long dinners shared around the table. Five bedrooms are arranged across two floors, providing ample space and privacy for one or two families travelling together.

Outside, the house opens onto a beautiful Mediterranean garden planted with gaura, stipa and mature olive trees. Magnificent old cork oaks surround the property, providing natural shade and giving the garden its distinctive atmosphere. Throughout the day, there is always a quiet corner to retreat to.

Outdoor living is an essential part of VILLA BICAS. A covered dining area invites long lunches and dinners outside, while a generous lounge by the main house offers another place to gather. Around the swimming pool, deckchairs, relaxed seating, parasols and an Indian daybed create different spaces for reading, resting or simply enjoying an unhurried afternoon in the garden.
